How I built my 2000. Although 90% of what I put on my truck she never noticed. Didn't notice the lift for a week and my brother saying something was the only thing that tipped her off. Said my engine sounded funny when driving hills (supercharger) and brought my truck home with the CBI swing out and said my friend gave me a great deal $300...although I did buy it for $600.

These wheels though are a bit more noticeable. I'm not worried. Should only cost me $125 for the switch and I won $150 this last weekend in my fantasy playoff pool. So free money!

I often find myself having little fibs about how much I actually bought something for. My girlfriend thinks she has some clue on how much I've actually spent, and that number scares her.

I think gunmetal F5s look close enough to my LC80 wheels where I could probably get away with it for at least a couple weeks

AR laws out there are just stupid. I still have a bullet button on one of my AR's. I need to invest in a longer range rifle. One of these days.

Can't own certain guns(handgun roster), stupid AR-15 laws, hard as hell to get a CCW, magazine restrictions. Not allowed any NFA items.

Legally owners AR's are dumb(featureless or registered), can't legally buy any new pistols brought to the market. There is no way you have any legally owned NFA items, as CA doesn't allow SBS, SBR's, suppressors or Class III's

you're incorrect. you can legally own an AR without registering or going featureless, you just need a fixed mag.

They have off roster consignment sales often.

    NFA you're correct there.

I stand corrected....fixed magazine AR's are dumb, featureless is dumb and registering is dumb.

not having one is even dumb-er.

Its not ideal but we work with what we can. I have a fixed mag AR, its faster to change a mag than the dumbass bullet button.

I agree. I had the bullet button that unlocked and functioned like a normal mag release. I'm just glad no law enforcement enforces the magazine laws here. Just hard to order out of state guns.

i had the radlock prior to going fixed mag (still have it in my box of spare parts) and i always had it unscrewed for quick mag changes. I tightened it to normal bullet button when i went to the range or transported it however.
