They are supposed to be making a kit. I need to check in with Kevin at Toytec and see if they have made progress. The radio is already on the Toytec website because it fits the FJ and the 4th gen 4runner.

As far as the ICONS I actually enjoy the ride. It is firm, but with the resis they absorb the rough ride well. I am good with them. A little known fact.... Bilstein shocks are digressive as well.

So when you getting a 2nd gen?

Probably around May, got a bonus coming my way that will pay off all my debt and put a good down payment down. just want to find a 15 with low mileage... like sub 20k, and still deciding between a LB or SB. had another stroke last week, so definitely going auto. had been leaning that way anyway, but this sealed it.
yeah didn't know that about the Bilsteins, I wonder what the Toytec Boss (the new ones based off the racerunners) are.

Sorry to hear about the strokes. Do they know what is causing it?

The BOSS 2.5's are progressive shocks. They are no longer made by Sway-a-way.

nope, no idea unfortunately. sway-a-way, thought it was race runner... doh. ok. got a bit before I need to worry about that. Gonna have to connect with ya and bribe ya with a beer (or two) for a ride (Beers AFTER lol).

So how much did that run? I really like it. Sent them a PM on fb already. Hopefully they can keep it a swing down style tailgate though for what I need (I know I'd have to remove the spare in order to do that, but no big deal)

Work with Corey at InSain Fab on pricing. To do a swing down would change a lot of things in the design. He'll take of you.

So thanks to @PS78 for stopping by today and grabbing some detail shots of the tire gate while he was here. Thanks Phil! Awesome work from InSain Fab!

That turned out amazing, as did the photos provided by @PS78. I'm really liking the attention to detail, particularly the trim on the underside of the table. Can't say I've ever seen that before.

The trim was my doing. The stainless steel is kind of sharp so it eliminates that.

So the battery box/holder I have isn't going to work for me. So now I'm looking into getting another one. But I was wondering about your thoughts on having a covered battery box or exposed battery box in the bed of my truck. With the weather changes here in Colorado and the fact my truck does sit outside at work constantly getting dusted, muddy and snowed on.

Enclosed for sure. You don't want any extra water touching the terminals if you do not it.

Ok. The enclosed ones do seem like a better choice. Thanks.
