Wondering if there are actuators in my door panels for my door locks on my 2017 Utility, the reason I ask is I am about to get a Compustar remote start and door locks for the truck. I am thinking they are there because I can turn tne key twice and lock or unlock BOTH door manually with the key.

Yeah, kinda what I thought too, the installer quoted me some bullshit price if they aren't there like 175 per door with no actuators, I did tell him about electric door locks and the key turn thing, and he said he would have to check.....maybe trying to rip me off , I don't know Corey, who did your Viper bro, and can you give me a reccommendation.

My neightbor who i grew up with since I was little, works in a customizing shop down the street from my place and installed my viper remote start for me since he does them in all kinds of vehicles, and a bunch of other car and truck customizing stuff. Tint and so on. Cost me $350 at his price installed. I Believe full price for a standard shift remote start is around $500 for the viper system I got with the lcd screen remote. But with a standard shift you need another box to trick the truck to think its in neutral. With automatics the starters are a little cheaper.

Yep! But you wont need the actuators in the doors since they are already there!
