I've been hammering on mine for almost a year now. Treadwear is great, no complaints so far. They actually make a little more noise on the highway than my Cooper ST Maxx tires did, if you can believe that. It's a little high-pitched droning noise once you hit 70mph; it gets annoying as it hits that funky tone in your ear. The Coopers were a much lower humm that I could barely hear. Not a big deal, I just crank up the music louder!

In snow and ice the G2's perform much better than my BFG KM2's, and rightly so! The tread is much tighter and claws at the snow without sliding around much. Grip is pretty darn good in powder snow offroad and even the hard packed snow on the road.

Offroad and at 30 PSI, the Terra Grappler G2's handle lose dirt and hard pack well; I found myself clawing up some pretty steep dirt/turf inclines without any slippage at all. Aired down to 18 PSI, they conform nicely and grip the dirt even better. Mud performance is on par with most general all-terrain tires: a little slippage here and there but nothing so far that brought me to a full halt. I don't actively pursue mud bogging but I've had them in the slop plenty of times. They cake up quickly, especially in this Ohio slate clay that's quite sticky when wet. If they cake up too bad, a quick blip of the skinny petal usually cleans them.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 as a primary daily driver with occasional offroad use.
