Just to check, you mentioned that there was a lack of a CV shaft. Was the hub end reinstalled and the nut torqued in correctly? That is the key part that holds the bearing together. If that end of the CV shaft is not installed, the bearing and hub will walk apart pretty quickly.

@BamaToy1997 No, everything was put together damn close to 100%. The only part completely missing when we left is the large outer boot clamp on the CV boot. The CV shaft itself was installed, and the spindle nut wrenched down with a breaker bar + Hi-Lift handle. He had full 4wd when we were done......just lots of gravel inside the CV boot that we couldn't scoop out.

Everything seems good with the truck, the shroud/oil guard for the rotor was rubbing a little on the way out, we stopped at the Eureka Dunes to figure out what the noise was and air up. I just bent the guard out a little and it was all good.

That doesn't surprise me one bit. That shroud has such tight clearance stock that all one needs to do to get it to rub is look at it cross-eyed or sneeze too close to it. Considering we had it off and swapped it around, I figured you would hear from it. I also had no worries, as that damn shroud is so easy to form into whatever non-rubbing shape one likes.

Yeah it was making a scraping noise on the way out through Dedeckera Canyon, I figured that's what the noise was and kept going, I just didn't want to start hitting high speeds without checking the noise.

I was soooo damn close to getting the gusset that are made for the sway bar. Just didn't want to use spacers since I'm not an aftermarket wheel kinda of guy. Fuck me. Lol. I ended up needing spacers in the rear due to tire rub on my shock body with the bamf relocate kit (12" kings). What's the difference. Should have just thrown spacers up front. Checked torque regularly and been done with it. Se la vie. *I'm probably going to get jostled plenty for using spacers now* lol

Edit: I should have just went LT 4x4 and been done with it.

I got 2 that do zero justice. How did those photos come out of us going down dedeckera?
    0207171837.jpg

This was before we got stuck. But the snow was Litterally to our doors when we had to turn back. I had use plenty of muscle to even open my door at one point. And the temps dropped off quickly so anything liquid quickly turned to ice.

Not from me. At that point of the trip, we were both well beyond exhausted. Shoveling snow just added another degree of exhaustion. Didn't even think to snap pics. Plus, it was night.
