Funny thing, recently a female member from COLORADO came out to Los Angeles and bought herself a Cement PRO (she posted in intro/newbie section). That is the FIRST time I heard someone fly INTO CA to buy a PRO.

 

There's another person here who missed out on the Super White manual I bought. She drove out to Carolina to get one! Posting picture of the Cement in just a sec.

Ahhhhh... yeah for sure. Mountain States didn't charge any extra fees and sold it to me at MSRP. Good folks there for sure, especially Travis.

I wish! I'm still iffy about buying outside of CA. i also have a trade in that would complicate things. any suggestions?

 

Sell the trade in in CA.

Buy outside of CA like 10-15 of us have done (7 PRO owners). Its not a big deal at all.


I traded in my 2016 OR, 3200 miles, in my 2017 PRO. Dealer asked for all pictures, and mileage. We agreed on price. I drove up to OR, did the trade, drove it back.

Easier than a Hollywood Hooker.

 

wow nice. yeah so i emailed Travis and told me about a couple of pro's coming in this month and next month. hopefully it all works out!

 

So I talked to my Trd parts guy today and this rumored "increase" in price for the Pro grill is exactly that. They have no plan to up the price to $600, he says they can't even keep them on the shelves.

UPDATE: Originally the dealer told me 6-8 weeks. Yesterday they called and said they were able to trade an allocation for a TRD Pro 4Runner for my truck. I should have it in a week or so, strait from port with all the options I wanted!

so how much did you end up paying in total? did you pay taxes through the dealership or when you got home to the DMV?

 

That's a damn good deal. I've calculated the OTD price here in Cali and it's 45.5k with just a Tonneau cover plus a $750 rebate. Doesn't have nearly as much stuff as yours.

Ooof, that's a tough one to recollect. Let's see, I paid around $48k for the Pro which included some extra warranty stuff (extra warranty and maintenance plan) and some add-ons such as all weather floor mats and mud guards. At the DMV I believe we had to pay a percentage of $31k or something like that? Cost at the DMV was $844.31 to be exact. Hopefully this helps.

 

I think its $46413 before TTL. Given the packages, also looks like a Toyota SE sale where they love customize everything, so if Im interpreting this correctly, its a $42K truck + $4k in extras + TTL - trade-in. Might be a state that does sales tax on difference? But w/o trade it would be pushing high $40 - $50k or about on par with Cali prices and no options. Unless s/he is getting the MT for less than $42k?

 

Yes, $46413 + Doc fees + tax. They subtracted the amount on the trade, added the doc fees, then calculated the tax. 3.25% tax, came out to $1415. Without the trade it was pushing $49,000. The options were apprx. $4,000.

 

You guys need to come to Michigan. They're everywhere around here!
