I remodeled a house where there was a whole bay of dead mice. It smelled like piss, right in the bay where the electric came in for the dryer. They nibbled through the wires, about two inches up.

looking for an air compressor for the house. Not looking for a very big one. Just needing it for simple wrenching and hand held air tools ( air ratchet nailer etc. ) strong enough to air a tire if flat. Not looking to keep it in the truck, this is for the house. Looking for a good one that people might have personally with enough to do the job, have enough air to not have to wait to refill tank AND somewhat quiet. Thanks for any help.

http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/porter-cable-20-gallon-portable-belt-drive-air-compressor I think belt drive is the way to go. Or a little pancake direct drive but my experience is that direct drive ones are loud.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Definitely 20 gallon or bigger. A pancake is good for nailers but not other pneumatic tools that require a high CFM.

I agree with 98tacoma27. You'll need something that will have the CFM output to run ratchets and not spend all day squatting in your driveway waiting for larger tires to fill. 20gal+ I have a Craftsman 10+ years old with no problems.

Just got done priming the ceiling in the basement....it took two gallons! I hate using sealer cause it goes on blotchy, but dries very solid...so it messes with you when your applying. I would take pics but I am tired and deserve a beer. Will go over it with a light and do my touch up spackle then time for paint. Thank god! I am done with the dusty stuff. Looking forward to doing flooring down here.

Spent 3 hours today digging out the forms , cords , hoses and wedges so we can actually get back at it on Monday . Been raining for a couple days now and what was about 13" of snow is now compressed into about 8" of heavy wet slop

Pouring Wed if Mother Nature has done fucking us around

Yup, that's what it looks like here too...got a break from work because of it. So trying to stay busy by working on the basement. I feel for you, sucks when you just wanna get a pour done, and over with. Mother Nature can be a bitch.

Knocked out one of two beige bathrooms in the poorest built house I've ever seen.

To fix that door I cut 1 inch off the latch side rehung it. Found out the wall isn't in the same plane, and about 3/4 out of plumb in 6 feet. If you look at the crown in the shower there is a gap between it and the ceilings on the right side. Between the exterior wall and the first truss there is an inch of difference. I stretched the crown assembly to make up some of it then filled the rest with speeds etc to flatten out the ceiling (not shown). I hate this house .

Builder built a house right next too it, ww think he just fucked my customer to get his house built. Also his Styrofoam forms floated away twice so his budget may have been fucked from the start.
