BFG KO2's 285/75/16's on Stock OR Suspension

Is that with the 1.25 spacers? And how did you get a tire shop to mount a 285 tire on a 7 inch rim? BFG requires 7.5 min rim width for there 285's.

 

Yes, 1.25 spidertrax spacers, and I believe the stock wheels hold between 7.5-9 inch tire. None the less the 285's fit fine. No rubbing anywhere, not even at full lock! I'm running a OME BP-51 Kit.

 

im curious on my tire size i have king 2.5s with extended travel coils and a camburg uca im lost on how my truck is going to be when it comes to rubbing

That's one sick long bed tacoma! Where did you purchased your lift kit and did you remove one leaf or used the whole pack? Do you have before and after measurements of lift.

 

It's the OME BP-51 kit which comes w/Dakar leafs. I didn't measure before and after

Hmmm the TRD sports come with 7.5inch rim width and the TRDoffroad comes with a 7 inch rim width, I take it you did not have discount tire install those tires to those rims???

 

Did you get your lift kit at bilstein.com? And how does it ride with the new lift kit,any issues at all?

 

I bought it slightly used off a guy in my area who had a modded Tacoma, He realized he needed a Tundra for work. I got the lift and tires for $2700. I just got it on yesterday so far it rides awesome and have no issues.

 

Smaller rim is a poor mans beadlock, people frequently put 12.5 wide tires on 7, 7.5 and 8 rims. There is no "real" requirement, only recommendations.

 

I had to laugh out loud on this conversation. Typical TW" it's gonna rub bad", "this won't work" or the "it'll break",... by people that haven't tried it.
