I don't really care about the wait, dont' really need it until summer anyway. Got it for cheap(er) as part of the last GB. But now that I've paid for it, I really want to see it on the truck :p
Right? I thought I could wait but now I've spent ~$700 and just want to see the damm rack on my truck :p Trade my 4Runner for a Taco? You add a windfairing to the one you made to cut down noise? Makes me wish I could weld....

Interested to see how you like those BPs, tempted to modify them to fit mine... That or Fox
He's been quick to respond to my questions, wait's not a huge deal (especially since he mentioned the long lead time before I ordered) To be fair, GOBI and other rack vendors have long lead times as well. If it gets delivered in the next week or two I'd still give him an A for customer service.

Where'd you find the cross bars? I've been trying to find those also, but haven't found a source. I'm about to just use unistrut.

What is needed for the cover plate. Just a slab of steel? Any certain thickness? I'm thinking I have what is needed at work.

Steel plate. The relentless fab ones are 3/16th thick I think. But 1/8 or 3/16 would be fine. Since it's mostly just a cover and not very structural.

You can make them yourself. Wouldn't be to hard. Especially if you cut first, made a paper template, then rough cut it with like a grinder. Then tack it up and grind it to look nice.

If I remember eighty-seven relentless fab one was like 20-25 bucks shipped.

I'd just get some 1/8 plate and go from there. You can chop off a lot more than the relentless plate would allow uou

It's usually the first half of March and second half of October from what I can tell. I'm hoping my bonus next week will cover a new set of real tires that don't look so dinky when the deal comes around, along with a set of new SCS wheels. Just have to decide decide between F5s in 3.5" BS or Ray 10s in 4"

@GSPRunner waited about a year for his, if I remember correctly. When he got it it came nowhere near fitting. He was also given multiple time quotes that were all missed by months and months.

It's just extruded t-slot. 8020.net is where I was going to order from in the past.
