Damn camera thingy is only good for maybe 2 months in Canada..!! Either covered in rain or snow, salt.... Toyota needs to develop an electric tongue like that dog....If my lens is dirty...push the tongue button....lick/lick... I can see again... Maybe the Engineers at Toyota will take this and bump it up in priority past the Tranny issues.... They should...!!

Because everyone sits on their computers lurking TW. Because of this our bad posture doesn't allow our neck's to turn except to grab our Monster Energy and Doritos.

My 13' did the same thing. Use some paint gloss or polish on it and the water beads up and falls off

Damn, those ARE hairy knuckles, just like my wife... hehe
In Canada though, you'd have to take off your mitts to do that and risk frostbite.... We generally choose just to "piss on it"... it actually works very well...and..you can defrost the lic. plate lights with the same "load"... hehe

I have that happen. If I have to be that concerned I get out and wipe it off quick. Depends where I am parking.
A lot of the parking garages at work have small spots so I have to get right to the wall. So I like having the camera so I can see when I'm about to hit.

Same with when I park in the driveway at home. Since its a slope and I always back in plus the height of the truck compared to the jetta, the jetta disappears once I'm like 4 feet away lol.

I always turn around while reversing then use the camera when getting close. So I just get out and wipe of the rain.
