    hey all!
I purchased the mbrp cat back exhaust not fully knowing what to expect. Well for anyone who has purchased this setup they will tell you it's loud as $HIT!! I don't mind it being loud outside the vehicle but it has created in cabin noise that is nearly impossible to deal with. The drone effect of this exhaust has me on the search for a solution. I have thought about selling the whole system but have found a few mufflers that would quickly swap with the mbrp muffler that is currently installed. Magnaflow makes a muffler that would fit almost exact but without hearing it first I am a bit nervous. This is what I have found to fit

The salesman stated the magnaflow will be much quieter as mbrp is one of the loudest exhausts made. Anyway I would like to be able to retain some good growl while idling or when I stomp on it but would prefer a much quitter in cabin noise level. Anyone have any suggestions?!

Drone is like a humming sound from the exhaust resonance that happens on free-flowing exhaust and certain motors more than the other mustangs are notorious including Camaros

    He just said 'recommendations' :notsure:

And since he's not stock now, wouldn't changing to stock be a mod? :D

I'm just a practical guy. No exhaust is going to make HP on these things. Only noise. So why bother?

Save the noise for v8's with a lumpy cam.
