    whats up...

This morning I noticed a squeak and a grinding crackle coming from the front of my truck when I'd hit small bumps and turn the wheel back and fourth. I could not find evidence of mechanical failure so I took it to the dealer.

After they inspected the truck the service tech told me it was the front body mount and this is the second Tacoma under 500 miles he has seen with a busted mount.

Anyway, Rick Hendrick Toyota in Fayetteville has the part and I am leaving it with them over night.

    We'll see how this goes

Yep luckily one issue I have NOT had in mine. Went to dealer today they have to order me a new gauge cluster. Speedo needle ticking and uninitiated trip.meter resetting.

Actually there's evidence of it existing across a few Toyota platforms - 2nd gen tacos and 5th gen 4Runners included. Seems to be the worst on these 3rd gen tacos though.

Just had to replace mine in my 3rd gen.. replaced the 4 cab mounts and 2 radiator area supports with a poly set. Feels much tighter and gave me about 1/4" of a body lift

The same shitty core support bushings used in the second gens, are used in the thurd gens. Same part number!

Sorry for the OP and everyone else that has to deal with this crap.

The ES ones pictured above work great!

I used energy suspension on my V20. I got them from summit racing. They are good rubber.
