The 7.5 amp fuse goes at the bottom of the stack to protect that factory circuit.

What size add a fuse do you need to run?

@Sagebrush gotcha and then would I just use the tail slot and use a 20 amp one if I want to piggy back two switches off of it?

Sorry I mean use the same add a fuse to power two switches

Two switches to the same bar? Yes, as long as you're running the bar's power through a relay switch.

@Sagebrush sorry I mean using the two switches grabbing powered from the same add a fuse to power ditch lights and their own relay and another switch with abbar and its own relay

I think that would be fine. A relay only takes about .1 of an amp.

I got a follow up question to this. What's everyone using for their dimmed contact on the switches? So that they dim when the dash lights dim? Also, is there a main ground under the driver's dash? Or just pick an arbitrary ground on the metal frame under the steering column?

Run your ground to the tan wire behind your cargo light switch. Connect the hot wire to the green wire there. Oddly it's the ground that controls the dimmer.

So can the rest of the switches (2 more in my case) be Daisy chained off that ground / hot from the cargo light? That leaves just two wires per switch running through the firewall right? One for the fused hot and on to the relay? Or can that fused hot be Daisy chained as well?

I don't know about adding more switches that run relays to this circuit. I suppose it depends on how many amps the relays draw.

And yes, two wires per switch through the firewall. Assuming I understand the question.

@Sagebrush you seem a bit more electrically incline than I, so I had a quick question. So I plan on running all my dimmed circuits Daisy chained from the bed lights (4 total). Then add a fuse will power a front facing camera, and 2 relays. That leaves just one wire leaving each switch as the trigger wire for relays. See anything wrong w that?

In full disclosure, I don't understand how the dimming circuit works since it's controlled by the negative side. It makes no sense to me. I don't know if there are lots of dimming circuits or just one...

I think it might work. That's assuming you are using relay switches. You'll know if it doesn't blow a fuse somewhere. If it does, scrap the idea. Don't try fixing it by adding a higher amp fuse.
