Hello! Figured I would introduce myself after a couple of weeks as a guest. Purchased my Taco in January brand new and I'm looking forward for many adventures. We love exploring and off roading and my F150 just wasn't fitting the bill anymore, and my aging WD21 pathfinder is not a great choice anymore for long trips!

Plans for mods include a 2-3 inch lift, some bigger tires, rock sliders and skids.

    Feel free to say hi!

LOL I am watching the wallet carefully, think I might have to hide it from myself! I've already done a few small things, installed a couple patches on the headliner, completed the diff breather mod and installed a Relentless ditch light bracket for my CB antenna. I'm really thinking of blacking out the badging, removing the V6 badge this weekend and replacing the step bars with sliders real soon. See how much time I have with Cars and Coffee this weekend :p

Oh that's right it's this weekend...there was a great turnout I think last October.

Nah, I just got the Tacoma in January. I was driving my WD21 Pathfinder that month.

    WELCOME from N.TX

I'd say stick to a 2 inch lift and 265 or 275 if it's going to be your daily driver. You'll be surprised the terrain you can cover in the Taco with a mild lift and will enjoy it more on pavement as well. Either way you go keep us updated!

    Welcome,
If your looking for level look without sacrificing your original ride check out my Taco. Went with a 2.25 front lift with 1 inch rear block. 275 BF Goodrich tires along with 1.25 inch wheel spacers. Enjoying it off road and as my daily driver. Happy Trailing!

Hmmmmmm. That particular Taco looks rather familiar.

I have to agree with Mr. Franko - 2" would be just about right. I only went higher on the T4R to clear the gas tank...thankfully you don't have that problem since yours is tucked away.

First C&C this weekend...next, a lot of playing in the mud, then Jambo in May. Big plans!

Congrats on the OR I just finished upgrading my sport with a 3" lift, 275/70/17 bf Goodrich AT KO2's, trd pro grill, and 17" trd wheels. I'm in houston and was wondering if your interested in trading your side step/running boards/predator boards. Mine came with shark running boards and there very slider like, I'm looking for the predators. Thanks and have fun upgrading! I sure did.

That is a super nice looking truck you have! I'm not really looking for a trade simply because I want actual armor type sliders to protect the truck while off road. Now, if you wanted to make an offer to buy mine, I'm totally open to that! Will help me save up for the sliders I want!
