    I'd just look for a cheap double cab and manual swap it. I picked mine up for 5900 stock, so it's possible for them to be cheap, just need patience.

    yeah??? isn't it pretty expensive to swap the transmission? i'm gonna definitely keep that in mind tho.. thanks. is that what you did with yours?

    If you do the labor yourself, it's not that bad. I think I posted in your other thread too...

    You can get the majority of the parts from a wrecking yard. Trany, pedals, etc... Then sell back your automatic parts. You'll end up paying more just because that's always how it works, but you'll still save a TON over just buying all the parts new.

    My brother and I did it to my old turbo 4runner many moons ago.

    Just had some guy in a minivan skrrrrrt to a stop in my driveway and run at me with a box. I'm here cuffs up, ready to go, looking ridiculous in my welding gear. And he yells, "Sorry we're really busy, have a nice night." And hands me this glory in a box. Guess FedEx was super busy and they had to use their own vehicles to deliver packages. I feel like an idiot and feel a little bad now, but Hey! Truck parts!! :D
