Getting a plastic rubbing/squeaking noise on 2016 sr5 in the area of drivers side dash. Want to say somewhere from left of wheel on out to door. Near constant and driving me insane. 8 hours a day in the truck making that noise is a true test of patience.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like where the pillar meets the dash. A ton of us have this issue in the passenger side. Haven't heard of it on the drivers. A thread is out there for it.

YES. I am having the same issue on the passenger side... an annoying rattle. Seems to be only when cold for whatever reason.

Tic tic tic.... and loud... A pillar sound deadening slipped out of place causes plastic speaker cover to come into contact with the A pillar when cold. Solution is to R&R the A pillar cover and add some sound deadening to the tabs on the speaker grill.

I have the same noise on the right A pillar. Pushing on the A pillar at dashboard or black center console stops the noise.

I had that sound in my sr5, what I did was push the A pillar towards the front of the truck, I felt a quick and subtle "click" or "snap" into place, no more noise. Thank God.

I just noticed the A-Piller sound last night driving around. Glad to know I'm not the only one.
