New and first addition to the family and the Tacoma. Baby girl Kayleigh 8.3 lbs 21.5 inches 02-08-2017. Mom and baby are doing great.

Car seat installed a month back. Taking her home in about two more days. California laws changed this year. Car seats have to face the rear now until two years old. Not sure how the Tacoma will be for that. Barely room now for the infant carrier. Had a second gen Tundra and downsized a few months before the news of a babies arrival. Wish I had the Tundra still. May trade the taco for a third Tundra but I'll give it a year to see how this one goes.

First kid for me at 44. Been selfish my entire life. This little girl took my heart. Was bummed at first when we new it was a girl. Didn't want to have a girl due to worrying about the thousands of dicks chasing her. But now that she's here I'm happy it wasn't a boy. I'll just raise her probperly. I retired in 2010 from Muay Thai and still instruct and train so I'm looking forward to this girl being involved if she wishes as well. If not I'll enjoy what she loves to do.

Enough of my rambling. Been up for 72 hours on 3 hours of sleep. Emergency delivery but that's another story.

Thanks for letting me share this.

It's good to see that somebody else likes Springfields and didn't drink the Glock kool-aid. The XD's are great guns.

Yeah but it's also nice to know there's no chance in hell that thing's coming off. The mobtown guys are also really responsive, if you have any issues send 'em a message and they'll get you squared away.

Sitting in my local Toyota dealership for my 10k change. What's the latest tsb? I've had the 0077-16 done, but is there anything more? My tranny still panics when it sees hills approaching at highway speeds.

Nope no Glocks here. I respect a Glock, but I own Springfields.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Well, I know what I am getting next. thanks.

Congratulations man, kids really change your life in a good way. Spend plenty of time with her, they all grow up so fast. 44 is not that old, she'll make you feel young again!

Not at all. I'm left handed, and it slides out easy. Easy like Sunday morning.

XD Mod.2 is my go-to. Didn't like the way the Glock felt in my hand
