No problem!! Electrical stuff is a lot like plumbing. Wires are pipes, and electricity is water. If you put too much water through a pipe that's not big enough, it'll burst. Except with electricity, it'll just get really hot and start burning lol this analogy helped me understand it best so i always pass it along whenever i can

 

I believe our trucks have power running straight to the fogs and the relay switches ground. That single wire for the light bar is probably power with the light being grounded to the frame somewhere. If these both are true, no, you cannot just tap. You will need to run power to the new lights and run the ground back to the switched side of the factory fogs. Definitely get @Sandman614 to verify.

 

However, you can pipe a full water vessel directly to an empty water vessel without having an explosion. I do use fluid analogies often, though, when trying to explain electrical stuff to our mechanics.
