I mostly just want to stuff 35s and get a little more lift in the front. Im good with the off road capabilities of my truck.

Just get 886 springs and half inch spacer then start cutting for those 35's. Any way you go you will be cutting stuff.

What kit are you looking at? Probably AP since thats what you posted :( also add wheel spacers for the rear so it doesn't look weird.
Also the axles are a pain in the ass. Highly reccomend sending them to CVJ to swap shafts to save yourself 8 hours of greasy hell. Also then you need a spare extended axle because you can't just go buy an off the shelf one anymore, you need the extended shaft.
Tie rods, steering rack and uniballs wear out/more uniballs to deal with. Bolts loosen up, more stress on different components since you are changing the geometry.
Also the ride is not smoother in a LT truck, if anything its smoother in a mid travel coil over below 40mph because out LT coil overs are tuned for higher speed.

yea i was looking at the AP but still considering the TC as well. i thought with the LT it would put more of a load on the suspension and less of a load on the other components.... i guess not. Anyways. I just am starting to get some wear patterns on my tires and am at about 48k miles on them so ill be looking at new tires in the near future. Definitely considering 35s. May just get new wheels and tires. Go to 17s and run those 285/75r17's. That sounds like a good size.

If you want 35's get 35's. Don't settle for that 285 if that's truly not what you want cause you'll end up after you get them wishing you had 35's.

Yea. Im just not totally sure I'm ready to start cutting. I know i cut my last truck and i regretted it... but i didn't know what i was doing and feel like i can do a much better job this go around. I want sustainable mods and want them done right. I plan on having this truck for a very long time and want to select good mods that will prolong my truck.
