Spent Friday night in the Mojave, woke up to 27 degrees and a sleet covered truck.

    Just the basics
Spent two cool days/nights in Anza Borrego last week. First night was spent in an open area outside park boundaries with far too many other campers and close to the highway. The second evening was much more peaceful with only one couple near me. In the morning four older guys rolled up on fatbikes and didn't know how loud they were. Any potential wildlife stayed clear of them.

Lesson learned for my first venture into Anza is don't go after a weeks worth of rain. Two of the recommended trails/campsites were inaccessible due to wet and muddy roads.

I'm glad to see someone found a new use for a milk crate even though I doubt that I'll be bringing an A/C unit to a campground anytime soon.

Dumping...that's where you put it right?

Actually picking up garbage for a RTT giveaway competition. Brought it all back to the campsite and started unloading it for a better picture and it all got awkward when I realized someone had been watching me unloading it...windy day, me yelling, "I swear I'm not dumping, I'm just staging a picture!"...I felt so judged lol

That's pretty funny. Hate doing right and getting the evil eye regardless. I police all my brass @ the range and had a guy bitch at me for leaving shotgun shells everywhere. I politely mentioned didn't bring a shotgun today but I did pick up about 1000 rounds of other folks casings plus some garbage so thanks for the heads up pal.
