Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

I feel like they left you with so many unanswered questions. Also. These peoples houses were bugging me. All cluttered and stuff.

 

Oh I know, going to be a good 2nd season for sure!

 

They need to hurry it up so I have stuff to do at work.

 

So i'm going against everything I stand for and letting a family member move in today. Anyone got some advice on things we should hash out ASAP or issues you've run into? I don't forsee any problems really but I don't let people live with me usually.

 

All I can say is, hold your ground.

 

I have no problems doing that. I am just wondering if I should be like "You don't pay rent or anything so I expect help in keeping the house clean" and things like that. She's moving from Lake Jackson to get away from a bad situation and so she doesn't have a job up here yet. I don't want to pull the "my house, my rules" thing but that's just how it's going to go because I can't see letting someone stay there and then still have to come home and clean after working all day when they're at home all day.

 

Might give it a day or three to let her settle and see how she likes to live, then sit down and just go over "guidelines" for how you like to live and what you might expect, given what you've seen so far. Depending on the extent of the "situation" is probably how easy or tough you can be.

 

Yup. 2nd season starts on Halloween.

Check out Frontier on Netflix. I binge watched the whole 1st season the other day. Think it was six episodes.

It's good to expect something from them since you're letting them stay in your home.

 

Just finished preparing my taxes. Apparently Uncle Sam is taxing me on my education grant from last year. Got me for $800.

 

Get that puppy popped and get that deduction.

 

Lol. Yeah. Deduction for next year. Plus I'm buying a house so that will help.

 

So on an impulse I literally just bought a 5 lbs bag of sour crawlers or whatever they're called on Amazon.
