You are 100% fine in 4wd in that snow, turning and everything.....even a very light snow you will be ok.

I've left mine in 4wd driving out my road on dry pavement and didn't even notice it till I had gone 5-6 miles. I just wouldn't recommend driving in circles in 4wd on dry pavement....Dirt and or snow is fine turning and circles, just not dry pavement.

You'll get the feel of it.

    thats what I figured.

I'm just curious what the whole clunk/pop was lol
I had it in 4lo just to try MTS drove maybe 100M, stopped, put it back in 4H as I was getting close to my driveway, drove another 10ft, then switched to 2H. Didn't get any warnings or anything just after going from 4H to 2H had a bit of a pop, almost sounded like everything opening up.

Just make SURE you are completely stopped and in neutral before going from 4wd high to 4wd low.

You can easily shift on the fly in and out of 2wd-4wd high with no damage.

With the electric transfercase I don't think you could even go into 4 lo without stopping and being in neutral. A bunch of bells will go off probably lol
