I've been back and forth with Tracy for almost a year about the OTT packrack and I'm still psyched. I need to buy a tent asap, even if that means using it on my Frontrunner bed bars for a camping trip in the spring.

 

Heck yeah man that sounds like a good plan. What tent are you looking at?

 

I was thinking about splurging for a James Baroud because I like the low-key looks of it, but I may end up with an ARB, CVT, or Tepui tent. Gotta see what OK4WD has on hand for my wife to try out. I'll likely end up renting a storage space here in NYC for my overlanding gear once we have the tent to get some of this shit out the apartment lol.

 

What's the GB drop date if the remaining members don't pay? I've paid a cool 1k for the rack and accessories... and I'm sure others want to know too...

Is there a chance that AP will honor the deal if the GB is short?

Hey guys I've been moving over the weekend I'll have an update for you all this evening. Don't worry, we're going to make this GB happen

 

Here's the deal fellas... I'm going to try one more time to reach out to the original group and if I don't get an answer by mid week I'll have to open up the list for new folks to jump on board. Either way we will make 20 orders, it's just that it may take a little longer than any of us want.

There should be some kind of strike system on group buys. You back out of so many and you're no longer allowed to join them. Screws everyone over when people back out.

I think we're at 17 confirmed commits now, still waiting to hear back from 3 list members but one will likely be out as he hasn't been on the forum in a few months and I can't reach him.

That said, it looks like we'll need at least one more person to make 20 but we'll likely need two maybe three.
