Got the stock alarm on my TRD 4x4 OR DCSB MT6 and I want to install a flashing LED. Red wire to constant power - Black and Yellow to Alarm Systems Accessory Output. Does any one know where to tap into it and what color wire is the Alarm Acc Output. tis

    Wow! no replys on this?
Ok how can I hook up the 3 wire's without using the alarm so the light will go off when ignition is turned on.
    Red - +12v constant or battery +
Yellow - +12v ignition ( grounded when the engine is OFF)
    Black - Metal chassis ground
I would like to tap into wires on the drivers side. Can someone tell me which wires to tap the red and yellow wires to. Tks TW

If all you want is a fake flashing LED, why not get something like this. Then there is no need to tap into wires.

How about a scanning LED light on the front of the truck like night rider? You can pair that with the club, go full 80s security system, and no one will mess with your truck

Pretty sure mine has a flashing red light when it's locked from the factory.

Doesn't a light on the dash already flash when the factory alarm is armed?

If you want your own flashing light, I'd go about it this way: Grab something like this then add a NC relay wired to pass power from +12VDC constant when the ACC is powered. You can use fuse taps to get constant from the open spot in the in-cab fuse block and ACC from the AUX NO 1 fuse.

I already have the Varad single flashing LED. Since the stock alarm does not come with one like other after market ones I wanted to mount one center of the windshield where the map light is. The idea is to see it when looking at the truck from the front. I know I have the stock light at the dash console but here in the 808 some of us roll that way. It's just a deterrent from a distance.
