When you spend so much time detailing your ride, when it rains it a real pisser.
Came into my head today here in IN, but realized I was on a trail doing some scouting with a buddy who owns the property.

First off after getting off the road onto gravel then through the grass and into praire grass I knew this was going to be fun. I was tearing up big chunks of prarie grass and throwing it. Don't get me wrong I don't go crazy or nuts but i wanted to see what these tires could do.

After about a mile we hit a fresh disked field done my an Amish fellow, or plants clover and such on this property. Now these are not your normal ruts, if you go against the grain (sort of speaking) your head will hit the roof. I took my time and the wet mud flew, had to stop a few time to spot and take pic's.

When we exited the field and got onto a logging road, decided to snap some pic's. And laid the camera on the cover while we checked some stands. Hour or so later came back out and we headed home.

Well..........forgot about the camera, and I can't drive the hour and a half to get back down to that area until next week. I hope it's rain proof, beside some really nice mud-up truck pic's I have some nice game shots.

Now wife is going to slap me, lost the camera, and got mud all over her side of the garage.

ya I know, I have a phone call made to his brother who has a farm besides the property. He is going to take the tractor out and do some looking.

Question, did some looking at your pics, in front of your rear wheels, Between cab and bed bottom) is that a newer style or chip protection (black piece). I noticed these on access cabs but this is the first time I noticed it on a 4 door.
I wonder if the same thing can be added to the 05???

If it gets wet the camera will be shot. You can try to let it air dry for several days, but they usually don't recover well. Good news is that the memory card with the pictures will be fine! Just make sure it's good and dry before trying to read from it. Then post the pics. :)

    A few bolts are different.
Yep i've looked into getting these bed protectors. I have an 05 too and it didn't come with them, they started putting them on the 06 model (Bastards) your Toyota dealer will have to order them for you but they fit right on there with 2 rivets, no drilling needed, and a little 3m tape. From what i remember a bit pricey thats why I didnt get them.

Thanks for the info Dark Knight, think I will check it out to see what the price is.

East Tenn. huh, what location? parents live in Bristol and I make a number of trips down that way each year. Matter of fact had race tickets for the race this month and had to sell them due to work/timing.
