As much as I like the Duratracs, I'm probably going a different route just for something different. I have 5 tires on my short list. Cooper stt Pro's, BFG KM2's Yokohama Geolander MT, Mastercraft (Cooper) MXT's, and Duratracs. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Cooper STT Pro.

I have 5100s in the rear too, replaced them last August so they only have a few thousand miles on them.

Also have 5100s up front but set at 1.75 on stock coils, they need replacing, looking forward to the ride with the new ones on.

For us folks without a mounted bottle opener. You can do the "tailgate mod" by just placing the bottle cap between the latch and the bolt. Easy cheesy.

Because NASCAR. (Trying to replicate 11 second pit stop)

I recently bought a DeWalt 18v cordless impact. It's TOO easy. In my 59 years, I've NEVER cross-threaded a lug nut.....until a month ago.....and now yesterday. About 3 or 4 threads on cross-threaded, and they will snap taking them back off. :(

Just replaced it and calling it good.

Love me a nice pale ale or IPA. I always have Stone IPA, Coors Light, a Pale Ale, and Jim Beam in my beer fridge at all times.

And where this relates to my 2nd gen? One of the best parts about having a truck is dropping the tailgate and hanging out having a beer with friends. It's like having an instant kitchen island hangout location at all times.

Did an oil change today with 5w-30 amsoil Signiture Series and damn I love this oil. Truck idles so smooth. I was at a red light and I was idling at 6hp. I thought the truck died before I looked at my scan gauge

MT's are great off-road, but for a truck that sees most of its miles on-road AT's are a better choice IMO. I"ve got a set of KO2's on my truck for daily driving and I have a set of KM2's for off-road adventure weekends. The average dB level with the K02's is 65dBs and when I mount the KM2's the noise level jumps to 73dBs. The dB scale is logarithmic so 8dB is a very significant difference. You might get used to it, but for me the adjustment would be difficult.

I'll back this......Tacos are money eater uppers, but not like normal vehicles. You can drive it bone stock for 300k miles and not spend money on anything other than gas and regular maintenance.

But what's the fun in that?

I thought about installing flush in the dash but I'm not installing for the passenger. Angle is dead on, no glare and it's high enough that I don't need to look down at all. Just waiting on some 90° connectors to clean it up a bit.
