If you guys could make an AllPro rear tube knock-off, with receiver, recovery points, and a tab for cb antenna, for less than they charge, I might be good to go.

Ya, thats too loud. I had the last 5.9 common rail and it was real quiet. The 6.7 shouldn't be any louder. Apples to oranges, but my boss has a scorpion power stroke and its very quiet.
Some things you can do yourself is add 1 ounce of 2 stroke oil for every gal at every fill up. This helps to offset the lack of sulfur in modern fuels and will help lubricate the top end. Also, if you get a FASS or AirDog it will remove air and the truck will run smoother and clatter less.
I do like Dodge and Cummins. Id really like to build an old late first gen (02) with a Ppump conversion.

Ive got some software that removes fingers from pictures, Ill get to work on that. J/K of course.
I was watching something online and was curious about something. Is that bumper tested to be certified for airbags?

No testing, ARB is the only one that can afford to test. I was told the airbags work on inertia sesors.

It's considerably louder than the Power Stroke I had. I talk to the public quite a bit and, when I'm behind the wheel, I can hear them but they can't hear me as well. With the Power Stroke it wasn't an issue, now I have to turn the engine off to talk.

I had a similar question about rear bumpers and could not find one that had certified the hitch with DOT . According to my best friend who is an insurance investigator if the hitch had failed they would look at blaming it but if it is something else ball failure, pin failure etc they wouldn't bother at least his company wouldn't . I like the ARB bumper but don't want to add that much weight the truck already ways 5260 with me , full fuel , cap , recovery tools / box in back. I think I will most likely end up putting in the hidden winch and just mod my rear bumper with the lights and maybe some D-rings.

I thought about aluminum so much for bumpers but I've already tagged an axis deer on right front wing tip. Steel didn't budge. Axis left some hair behind on bumper and took out her hip.

This is just what Ill probably do about the rear for awhile. But the front, I dunno. I wanted the southern off road, but then I was thinking maybe it would be smart to have more protection, so I started thinking bull bar, but then when I was researching i found the info about the airbags. So that narrowed the selection. It would be my luck to get a bumper that doesn't test and wind up getting hit and dying because the airbags didn't go off.
I like the look of the ARB.
    Don't like the price.

I was overseas when mine happened. I didn't want to have it done where I was so I kept pushing it back in for two months until I returned to the US

Do check it out. And it may have something to do with being a flatbed and not shrouding the exhaust system and funneling the noise like a full bed does?

Also did not want the extra weight on the front suspension affecting the handling, braking, mileage, etc.
My goal is to not run into any rocks, trees, or deer.
