The Bob runs other Toyota specific sites, but mainly because the others all want to be Tacomas. And then there's the mods - I think the rule is get rid of your taco but stick around and you're a mod.

Also, I'm just the cat herder around these parts - Nexisux is the main man on this design with a lot of inspiration off of ERMB's work, but everyone tossed out ideas in the original thread just checking to see if there was interests. TL:DR summary - there was interest.

Classic Toyota Truck emblem. Tried to Google it...TW was the first entry.

Got it , I designed the patch and coin for my last deployment so I know how challenging it can be to satisfy everyone , that being said, again... hats off to everyone involved for all their efforts. Can't wait to see the finished product

Yeah I agree. I'm out for that reason. But want to thank all who were involved in the process.

The purpose of this first coin was to "try" to make it as universal and inclusive as possible. TacomaWorld has turned into much more than just a tacoma forum even though the title would suggest otherwise. Our goal when we set out doing this project was to get feedback from as many as possible and to synthesize that into a coin that is representative of all of Tacomaworld. If you look at the variety of subjects, topics, and vehicles this forum covers and represents it's an almost impossible task to create all that into such a small area. Our current design may not be perfect, but it does include as many of the ideas brought forth from our initial ideas/concepts thread as we could reasonably fit. I thought we did so without crowding the design as well as being thoughtful of design elements and symbolism.
If this coin takes off in the direction that we hope it does then this could be the beginning of a new chapter for these coins which could lead in many directions from vehicle specific to regional etc.
So keep the ideas coming, be open minded on this original design and we hope you see this moving in the same direction as we do.
Also my hats off to @CaptAmerica for getting this thing off the ground in the first place, it's been an honor working with you on this and hope to see it continue!:hattip::cheers:

Well said. Lets keep the positive vibe going.

For all of those who are out for one reason or another that sucks. I am sure everyone would love the designs to be perfect for absolutely everyone. But as we know that isn’t always possible. I wonder what the result would have been if this all happened behind closed doors and the “winner” was simply presented and we were told this is the cost and here’s how to order. I know I would alter a few things if it were 100% my design but hey it was a collaboration and I think for the differences of opinion on some finer details the design is perfect.

    Hey all,

Some things have come up in both my personal and professional life that are taking up a lot more time than were expected or anticipated. We are continuing to press forward with the coin and I appreciate everyone's patience. While it was my original intention to handle logistics personally to keep costs down, I no longer have the time (or guest room) that I used to. More details will be coming shortly as we get the final proof worked out and quoted.

Thanks again, and I can't wait to see the coin either.
