So I think the world will end in December 21, 2012. I was wondering if any of you think that too.

    Let's discuss. :)

I believe the world as we know it will not end by any prediction. It will just happen randomly. If by some chance the "end" was predicted by some guy, god would just have to change the date in his calendar again. Good thing he wrote it in pencil :D

EDIT: where the hell is the "Zombie" option?!?! I would click that one;)

LOL Keason. Very good, I like that.

Yes your right, I can't change the poll now, I would have added the Zombie option, along with thermonuclear warfare, and terminator style machines.

I highley doubt it, but then again I've seen a whole bushy butt load of ghost hunter shows on tv, and many more show with aliens and the such. I saw a show where some math teacher predicted the world would end in 2066 or something like that. By mathematically figuring out some chinese time line crap, but then again he was under the influence of some drug he went out searching for that the mayans used to predict the 2012 calender. I dunno . I doubt it will end in 2012, but then again look at all the crap that's been happening around us. It seems we're getting more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and tornadoes. From a spiritual stand point, I can believe its a deck of cards being built up for it to fall, but then again I'm a man of science, and I love cold hard facts. Why do I want to learn so much!!! Gah!!!! Well that's my two cents.

I obviously don't want the world to end but the human race could certainly stand to have the reset button pushed. We've gotten so F'd up, I don't think we can fix it without starting all over again.

I dunno when it'll end. It'll eventually end by Jesus coming in my book, but I'd be cool with Him turning a few people into zombies so I could pop a few shots off on 'em. :D

Oh yeah... I totally believe in a book of fables written by an ancient civilization. Ironically, the book even knows how the world is going to end.

    Oh, the beauty of hypocrisy.:)

Good imagination. I'd fight in the resistance.

It would be unique to witness the end of the world that's for sure. I don't mind it so much, I just hope it doesn't hurt too much. It's like dying. I don't mind dying either, I just don't want to be there when it happens. :)

Did you know that there five giant swirling garbage patches in our worlds oceans? They are as large as the state of Texas and contain suspended plastic, chemical sludge, and other debris that have been trapped by the oceans currents. Fish anyone?

This is the stupidest crap I've ever heard. Some dimwit thinks the world is going to end b/c the Mayans calendar stopped on Dec. 21, 2012? Do you have a calendar on your wall that goes on for eternity? Gee I dunno, may be they actually GOT TIRED of writing and said, "F this, that's enough." I wish people would actually apply common sense and logic to things but then again such faculties are a rarity in today's society.

(PS: This rant is not aimed at members of this forum, rather the typical imbeciles you may encounter in the general populous :D)

Sorry my friend, but after the meteor hits; I'm going to need my Tacoma to wheel in space. I hear Mars has some epic trails. I feel bad for all the other non-tacoma truck owners out there, with their non-meteor-proof trucks and all.

Y2K was a man-made problem. I helped fix Y2K so I was never worried about that one.

I suppose 2012 is somehow caused by nature or natural cosmic events, and somehow that makes it real. :D LOL

We should investigate mounting options for our guns. I need a port in my windshield to shoot from, like the armored trucks. When I need to shoot out the back I just open the back window. It works great every time. :)

It's real. I know of sailors and they say they can't sail through the patch without serious risk to their vessels, 1000 miles north east of Hawaii. There are overseas containers that have been lost at sea and they are now like floating iceburgs that never melt. Hitting one of those things would put a vessel in peril. Here is an article from the NY times http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/10/science/10patch.html
