Fucking hell, I wish. No. They are just among my project cars. Ya know, the ones you can't prove I don't have. :anonymous:

Kick out is the part that bulges out, by the back end of the slider, as opposed to being straight the entire length. Fill places are used to fill in/cover the spaces between the tubing of the slider.

Yeah, I'm going to. I'm thinking to get them in bare steel though and just rattle can them in the backyard.

Yes definitely do that, use a good self etching primer and wipe the sliders down with alcohol or acetone or something first

Spring time should be fun. Got a lift, sliders, skids to install and hopefully I'll find my FJ wheels by then.

All the fun stuff! My plan is just more maintenance. Basically, most of what I didn't do last year. So it's not exactly anything fun.

I'm anal w/ that. Do everything before it's due, etc. I even just detailed my truck in the garage this morning and now I can't drive it.

Detailing vehicles i the one thing I don't really do. I don't even clean that much, especially by hand. I have cleaned and detailed the truck once in the year and a half I have had it. Because I have so rarely done it, I am no good at it. It barely looks better when I am done. Hardly seems worth it. But damn do I love seeing a good detailing. Amazing what some people can do.

Yeah I am doing things to avoid problems. POs were okay with maintenance, but there is a lot that was never done. My brake fluid, for example, was disgusting.

As of now bolt on. If I get this job things may change. But bolt on are strong enough..If I were to go weld on I would probably go mobtown and just pick them up. They're a lot cheaper.

I would imagine the bolt on's are pretty easy to install. I installed slider on my xterra by myself in my condo parking lot with the flu.

I have never once read of bolt on sliders failing. And you can remove them, if you ever want/need to. I was considering them but ultimately went with weld.
