After lift my traction control kicks on help!!

i put a 6 inch lift on my 2017 trd sport. When i go to put left or right turns sharp with a little gas behind it it triggers the system. I even turn it off and it still does this! Any help would be awesome.

 

1. Don't put a 6 inch lift on your truck.
2. Don't hit the gas during sharp turns.

It's likely similar to a problem with the second gens. Show this to a dealer and they can probably help you out.

you need to get your VSC recalibrated.

The truck is exceeding yaw, pitch and roll values and thinks you are tipping over. The dealer can baseline these setting for your current lift.

@Crom has a thread to reset the VSC system in 2nd gens , not sure it would apply to the 3rd gens directly but the underlying issue is the same

Print out the pdf file in the first post of the thread linked above by @EatSleepTacos , this same procedure is supposed to be done after alignments or altering / replacing suspension components so there will definitely be a similar procedure for the 3rd gens

What lift did you go with?

 

Pretty sure it can be done with a paperclip. If it's the same as 2nd gens it's a simple process for calibration. I have the instructions saved somewhere, I'll upload them if I find them.

 

Rough country and zero issues kit was awesome quality parts everything needed. But let the hate begin
