Looks good! Is blue legal in your state? We can only use amber in Ohio. What hardware are you running? How did you mount it? What controller/switches are you using?

    Pretty cool man!

Here in PA our firefighters are only allowed to use a single blue light in thier personal vehicles and they're not allowed to violate any traffic laws

Yes, here in IL Emergency Responders are allowed blue, or blue/white lights. Fenix in the front, and 911EP in the back. front mounts are in the visor mounts and the rears are secured to the middle seat headrest.

In IL we're allowed blue or blue/white and use them as "courtesy lights" to ask people to pretty please get out of our way so we can put your fire out, or load grandma into the boo-boo bus. Really though, people do give us our room which does allow us to get to scenes or the station faster. And at times we'll have to use them to shut roads down or direct traffic.

Mainly yes, multiple other things that allow for them as well.

I just have a suction cupped dash light in my truck now. I am looking to do something similar but haven't decided on the visor lights yet. Whelen's are nice, but $700+. Going to look into the ones you did, they look good.

Whoops forgot about that part. Right now I just have them spliced into a cigarette lighter adapter. Still toying with how to permanently control them. Might by that "I made a thing for switches" that replaces the cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel. I'm kind of waiting a bit to see if there are other things I'll need switches for before I commit too much.

I'd really like to add a stealth 32" bar in my lower grill. So if/when I do that is when I'll likely decide for sure how to permanently control the emergency lights

Yeah, your talking about the Switch Pro. It's like $500. Check out the Fenix mini controller. It's only $85 on Sirenet.

Can you post up some photos of how you mounted the visor lights? I'm liking this "dual mode" Feniex visor light...very neat being able to go to flood mode with all white.

This was the only photo I grabbed during the daylight. Lots of dremel action!

When you say "dremel" do you mean of the light or on the truck? I don't want to get into cutting up my truck.

Totally hear you there! I meant the mounting brackets. I too REFUSE to put any holes in my truck. Was able to slide the mounting brackets between the headliner and mounts on the inside ones. The outside ones had enough thread to put through one of the mount holes.

That would be a cool way to mount even just some plain driving lights so you can benefit from the higher mounting location and better terrain illumination without sacrificing any aerodynamics.

While that may sound like a good idea, you do get what's known as "flashback" on the inside of your windshield which can sometimes make it hard to see. you'd really have to butt them up right on the windshield and even in the best installs I've seen, you still get a little flashback. Good in theory, just don't know how practical it would be :)

I started looking at how the visor lights will be to install... How do I go about mounting them with this stupid(in my opinion) go pro mount on the windshield??

It shouldn't be in the way. If you really need it off just go to a glass shop and have them pop it off

The top of my bar was knocking into it.... I thought about just backing the bar our a little, but that creates lots of flashback, so I marked where it hit and took a dremel to it. since it was just the top of the bar, you can't even tell.
