I'm probably averaging 14ish mpg. Just remember the size I got are LT tires and are very heavy. I'm expecting my MPG's to go down more this spring when I put my RTT back on and load up the truck for camping.:annoyed:

First post here but figured I would add my experience and thanks to the previous thread contributors. Just picked up a set of five P265/75r16 for my truck. Suspension is still stock and plan on keeping it that way(ish) till I can afford to really put some coin into it, I have 5100s but have not had the time to do the install. Initially was going to go with Hankook Dynapro ATM but decided I wanted the beefier sidewall of the Falken. Glad I did! Everyone who said before that these are more impressive in person was totally right. Looking side by side at the wrap around treads, the Hankook gives the illusion of tread, but the Falken really has some nice thickness to it, not only looks much better/meaninglful but should prove useful. Haven't driven many miles and only on road but they are definitely smooth and quiet. No noticeable loss of low end coming from the stock 265/70r16 Rugged Fails but a definite difference in 6th on the highway, about 4-500 rpm lower at 70. (Odd side note, with the 6 speed, the gear shifts almost seem smoother and less chunky with the new tires, idk, might be imagining things haha) I got the whole set, installed/mounted/balanced/America's Tire road Hazzard etc, out the door for 602.51. got them to match the Dynapro price that PepGirls has @ 121.49 AND give me the buy 3 get one tire free deal (that the Dynapro technically doesn't qualify for). Stoked for now. Thanks again to everyone who shared pics and their experiences so far, helped me land on a decision I feel satisfied in. Cheers!

I had some slight rubbing in reverse. I took the small flaps off in front of tires and that solved it.

Ouch!! If you say that you spoke to a manager at PepGirls and they offered that tire/size with their current promotion, you should be able to get them for:

    164.99 x .9 = 148.49 (10% off)
    148.49 x 5 = 742.46
    742.46 - 148.48 = 593.97 (buy 3 get 1 free)
    593.97 + (16 x 5) = 673.97 (tire + mount balance and road hazard)
    673.97 + tax = out the door (no tax on labor, et: tires only 593.97 x 1.0725 = 637.02, 637.02 + (16 x 5) = 717.03 out the door)

Not as low as I got because the 265/75r16 is significantly cheaper, but it's quite a bit less than what they quoted you; if you go with only four tires and do the same math you should be able to get out the door under 550. Good luck!

    Edit!!

This is for the LT tire, if you want the passenger rated tire it would be a little less. [(134.99x4)x1.0725]+(16x5)=659.11 for five tires, four tires would be 498.33 (with 7.25% tax)

I want to say I paid 450 minus a 50 rebate for mine in that same size. This was last year when they first came out.

    Edit:

Something is way off here, how many tires was this for? They are 141.30 a piece on the website right now.

Jelous! Did you actually get them put on or just quoted? Post some pictures up of the scs 6s when you get them put on if you didn't already.
