It just gives them another reason to bitch at you for something stupid. When I was with my girl, I never complained about her leaving the seat down!!!:D

I have heard the "we fall in" argument before.

My response was that if one intends to pee into something, they need to visually confirm that they are green for launch and if they skip this step they have no right to bitch about any unfortunate consequences. Proper equipment is key to success.

I am not about to take responsibility for anyone's success/failure in toileting that is over 2.5 years old. That's absurd.

There must be something wrong with me.... because I could care less and neither does he.

Honestly? He leaves it up...and I leave it down. We're both dealing with it.

There's more important things in life to worry about.

    There are 2 rules.

    1. Wife/GF happy, you're happy.

    2. Wife/GF unhappy, you're unhappy.

So if she says it is important to put the seat down, remember the 2 rules.

the only time i care if the seat is up is when i know it was my roommate and that's just because he's an asshole and i hate him..but if it was bf...i couldn't care less, it's not that hard to put it down.

for the same reason why my girl tells me to adjust the shower head to face downward so that when SHE turns on the water, it doesnt spray against the back wall and drip out of the tub

if youre gonna turn on water, you are responsible for where said water goes...just liek you arent going to point a garden hose at your face and turn on the water then blame someone else that you got water on your face..

Honestly, you should leave the seat down and close the lid. It leaves the restroom looking cleaner and maybe not as germy.

actually after 28 years of leaving the seat up i am trying to learn to leave the seat and lid down. my room mates stupid fucking cats are fascinated by dropping their toys in it. i keep coming up in the morning to find mice and straws and wire nuts (straws and wire nuts are their favorite toys). it gets really old. so i'm tryhing to learn to put everything down but its hard to break 28 years of habit
