You wouldn't get flamed by me.... If I had the dough for one of those, I'd be all over it. Those things are awesome.

I wouldn't trade either of my trucks for a third gen, I would actually rather walk. I don't know if it is just the styling or what but the third gen Tacoma's look about as bad is it can get to me. And I have also thought about getting a raptor but I like my first and second gen too much to do that but if I had to choose another truck and it couldn't be a first or second gen then the raptor would be in my garage.

Got 25k on my 2016 SR 4X4 5 Speed 4 cylinder with zero issues and ready to drive it for a few hundred thousand miles! Granted I have done a lot of mods and it's far from stock lol

If I had to part with my 2nd gen I'd just go find another one. Too many nice low mileage ones out there not to. The only thing I don't like about my truck is the wind noise at high speeds.

I have one of the last 2nd gens. That said, I buy a 3rd gen in a heartbeat. I'm a manual transmission guy. I like the 3rd gen SR5, without the flares.

Not too big but coming from those '90's a bit larger for sure!

My 2013 was parked next to some earlier Tundra and pretty sure they were about the same size give or take an inch.

I've had 3 previous Toyotas all the way back to like an '85 single cab. Oh my now that was tiny!

I think the modern Tundra's are too big.. for my purposes anyway!

If I had to get another I'd do a bearded taco. 2.7 5MT SR 4x4 utility package AC w/ tow. It would be easy to add keyless, cc & int wipers. I'd probably have the fenders and front bumper pained to match (cause I'm so vain)

Driving a '16 Frontier Pro4X now, 6 speed manual, plus I have my '95 4Runner and '81 Rabbit Cabrio, both stick. Wife won't drive a slush box, so she has a '16 GTI. 20 year old daughter hates automatics, she drives a Mazda 3 6 speed now. We looked at a Beetle for her and found one that was manual, but none of the sales guys could back it out and bring it around because they didn't know how to drive a stick. They handed her the keys and she whipped it out of the parking space and pulled right up in front of the showroom. You could almost hear all the sales guys balls shrivel.

    First 4 cars I owned were manuals: 78 Datsun 280z / 91 Honda Accord / 1993 Acura Integra / 1997 Honda Accord

Due to bad back and a wife who hates manuals, last 3 are automatics. Although, I been having an itch for a Miata or S2000 to track.

Sad lately how many folks who don't even understand the concept of manual.

My wife and I both can drive a manual. Signature car has a 5-speed theft deterrent system:thumbsup:
Wife learned to drive in a '48 Ford. Her dad would not sign for a D.L. unless she could drive a stick. The US Army took care of me (deuce and a half).

I'd probably buy a diesel Colorado Z71 if my truck got totaled, or a 15 TRD Pro if I could find one with super low miles. Not interested in 3rd gens at all, unfortunately.

NAPA parts truck? It's an access cab, and it's loaded... NAPA trucks usually have auto, A/C, AM/FM radio, and that's it...
