That's exactly what I was hoping to not see. Like Brian said, if it's not seized up you can pull the plugs and shoot the water out. Sadly, if the starter won't turn it over, that usually means it's locked.

Hopefully it can just be cleaned out. Good luck brother.

I can't believe you got water in your air box, your right fender well plastic did come loose though so I wonder if that played a factor in it too.

I feel so bad for the guy. That shit sucks on a new truck too. Well I am sure that you have good insurance. Because it appears your going to need it. Everyone remember that water is dangerous. Our truck gain their water from the inner fender. Put a snorkel on

Installed the rigid fogs last night and they look great appearance wise, however functionality wise they are lacking - in that neither are working. I installed them and plugged the factory wire straight into this adapter pictured, and then the adapter straight into the factory fog connections. Should be a simple plug and play right? Or am I missing something?

Now time to figure out if the lights were sent DOA or if the harnesses were DOA.

Will be the first thing I do when I get home from church/grocery shopping. I'll report back. If fuse appears fine I'm going to reconnect the factory fog and make sure it's working properly.

Got a multimeter, to check for voltage at the source? If not, plugging back in the OEM lights will do.

Also, this is going to sound dumb, but did you check and see if the harness can be turned around and plugged in. As in, can you plug the harness in the opposite way that it appears. When I installed HIDs in my first 2nd Gen taco I actually had to plug the harness in where it appeared backwards. Still snapped together fine and never came loose. Just a thought.

Well I think I have officially killed my lower ball joint on the passengers side yesterday. At low speeds I hear a popping/metal on metal sound. It goes away around 20-25mph.

@TacoAlaMode I am pretty sure I can remember you saying this is what it would sound like when it went?

Checked the fuse after church before going into the grocery store just because it was bugging me. Fuse appeared fine, I went ahead and swapped it for another 15 just to make sure and still no dice.

I have a multimeter at home so will try to figure out if it's the relay, harness or fogs themself when I get home.

I tried this but unfortunately these harnesses will only "click" one way. I tried to flip them at both ends but neither of those ways resulted in a flush connection so I'm 99.9% sure they are connected properly.

Ha don't feel bad either way! Hooked back up the factory fogs and they are working perfectly so it can't be the relay nor the fuse.

Going to knock a few things off the honey-do list the wife has for me today then will take out the multimeter and make sure the voltage is consistent what what is entering the harness to what is coming out of it, If it reads the same it has to be the lights right?

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
thats exactly what i was thinking. the left side came loose after going through some water last week. this hole was shallower than several ive done before. i think when that wheel well splash guard came loose on the right side it acted like a scoop and directed a bunch of water straight up on the airbox

best case scenario; some/most of the water in there could be from you towing me back. we went through at least 3 pretty deep puddles just geting back to the road after the liner came loose. i really need to get down there and try and turn it over before it rusts but ive never messed with the plugs, i dont know what tools i need to bring

If @BarberRider motor is hydro locked, what does that mean for the motor? Replace, rebuild, or can it be cleaned out of water. Hate to sound stupid but, just wondering.

wish I knew/had what you needed. I'm at home waiting on work to call. otherwise id be there to help. probably get my wife mad though. I skipped my nephews dedication at church this morning because I could get called to work. be hard to explain going and doing "Tacoma" stuff. she's coming along though. yesterday, she asked if my tires came in. had to explain the difference in those and wheels! even my 30 yr old little brother didn't know the difference
