Hmmm. That is weird. They fit okay except for the corner at the driver's seat and center console. Passenger side is the same. It's like they were made for the floor to be flat there, except the floor isn't flat.

Yeah after you say that, Im starting to remember when I first put them in, they were a bit bulky and didnt seem to want to stay in its designated spot. After a few time of getting in and out, and having my lady do the same on the passenger side, they seemed to have molded into how they should have been. I cant recall the flat floor issue though. They are awesome floor mats though. Man, have I been missing out. Tipping point was a small off-road trip with my brothers a month ago,- ended up getting mud all along the crevices of the inside of the door. Not cool.

'WD' stands for 'water displacer'. It makes WD40 a good solvent for loosening up sticky hinges, and makes people believe it is a lubricant as well, but its not. I would follow up a WD40 treatment (after it dries) with spray-type white lithium grease. WLG is also a really good treatment for sticky door lock cylinders.

They've been great in the Acura. I'll likely keep them and hope they settle after some use.

I'm considering using a heat gun to soften them up and see if I can persuade that corner to conform a little better.

It's hard to see in this pic, but there's a step up from the the floor to where the corner is resting. Prevents the mat from sitting flat, leaving a big gap underneath.

I see ur a dc. U cant just get mats for a standard cab or exracab. The floor is different right there. I had that issue too when i swapped over from my extra cab. Sadly weathertech doesnt make any mats for us 1st gen dc guys

Yes. I realize that now after returning to their site. My fault for assuming the floors would be the same. I guess I'll try my luck with the heat gun.
