I almost modded the truck with a new (2nd) embroidery machine Friday.

 

I can notice a big difference between a Sig and a Glock. Then again I'd rather shoot the HK any day before the Glock.

Okay, okay, I'll let y'all in on the secret to hillbilly headlight restoration. First, you wetsand em with 3000 grit until they are smooth. Wipe em dry and hit em with air to get all of the water off and out of the tape. Then they will not be yellow, but still foggy. Then you hit em with a buffer in short bursts with Meguiars compound, the bottle with a red hood on the front. The Meguiars helps to seal the plastic back up. Many methods work, but the Meguiars seals em, unlike methods such as using Off bug spray and toothpaste.

 

I've used the Meguiars polishing compound before. Just hand buffed 'em.

 

That'll do it too, we just do it with the buffer for expediency.

 

I've got a BIG buffer and a smaller Porter-Cable "polisher". Thinking the smaller one would be ideal.

 

Yeah, probably. our buffer is a Harbor Freight one, wheel is almost the size of a dinner plate.

 

I wonder if the sell buffer pad for angle grinder

 

Try a tile shop/distributor, my tile guy uses them for buffing the cut edge on marble.

 

Treating for oak wilt. I'm saving 3k by doing it myself.

Yes, but be careful! Angle grinder is pretty high speed compared to a buffer. Can "burn" delicate items like plastic.
