i love providence because i can walk to anything i need, lots to do nearby, good food, etc. i just don't know enough people in my area to hang out with down here. all of my friends are outside boston, or ct

 

Look on the bright side, at least you don't live in the same ZIP code..oh wait..never mind!

 

I'll check with my sis in law for the resort they stayed at. Was pretty cheap all in all and they had public busses.

 

When I briefly lived in NY it was the same, everything we needed on a regular basis was on our block or an adjacent one. Block being defined as 15 houses long that is..

 

The front axle is out at the moment.

Afternoon, peoplefaces! Normally I don't internet on the weekends, but since we've got a good chance of a power outage for the next couple of days I figured I'd break my routine and check in with you folks. Plus I was online checking the latest forecast anyway. Looks like the weather gods have me scheduled to receive rrgirl's waist size for a snowfall total, but honestly I don't think they know for sure how much it's going to be. I'd be unsurprised at 30" because I always seem to end up with more than the official totals. Don't know if it's because of where I am on the hill, but I typically end up with 10-15% more than the average for my area.

Somebody watched Transformers a whole bunch of times, and then designed a set of headlights, lol.

Where I am the main roads are just slush, side and back roads can be a little questionable but nothing that bad at all

Grand kids school was called this afternoon and now the Ship Yard is closed till Tuesday
