A 2009 Subaru Forester. Which my wife now drives. I got her Civic, so it has been a pretty big change. But the monthly payment on the Subie is about 200 less than I was paying on the Tacoma. We are in the process of buying a new house, so the extra money doesn't hurt. I'm using less gas a week as well.

My wife wnts to trade her CRV in on a Legacy. Preferrably an Outback Sedan, but they're hard to find. She's had Toyotas, a Honda, and now she wants to try a Subaru. I've never had a Subaru, but I've always heard very good things about them.

I put on my SR5 seat covers that came in. Man those things are a pain in the ass to put on tight. I still have to do some tweaking with them. Anyone got any tips?

I put on my rear pair of window visors. They don't really stick too well. I'll give it a few days to stick.

I think I might have gotten a little mud on one of my tires! Keep in mind, in the last 4 weeks, I've used a 1/2 tank of gas.

I don't know if this counts as today, but I finished installing my Kenwood DDX812 the other night...finally! I couple days before that, I installed a auto-dimming mirror with Homelink.

    That's about it...:D

My last 3 cars have been Subarus (Impreza and WRX) and they are fantastic cars. I just got tired of driving a car and came "home" to Toyota trucks. :D

Painted my fender flares (thought body color would look better than black, we'll see!).
Painted my tailgate (was showing rust at bottom lip, where bumper cover has rubbed off paint).
Finished bodywork and painted hood with custom scoop off '99 4Runner (love the look of the new Tacomas with hood scoop, just haven't fallen for the rest of the truck yet). For more on this project see: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/12070-first-gen-hood-bulge-progress.html

I finally mounted my light bar. It came out of a '95 so it doesn't fit exactly. My dad and I had to do some tweaking to get it mounted. But it serves its purpose...I guess its purpose is to look good.

    You're gonna love that setup.
I drove up there a few weeks ago to pick my set up.
They made me a set while I waited! Awesome service!

Fixed steering looseness. After looking at EVERYTHING, finally dug deep enough to find that the hexagonal sleeve fit was very loose. Must be that in 2004 they were using up all the (previously) rejected parts in the bins...little redneck tack weld fixed that...

Got off my lazy butt and cleaned the interior, got rid of the vinyl smoke from the inside of the windows, especially the windshield.

Got the Electrolux out and vacuumed the interior.

Used some of the Ultimate Vinyl and leather protectant that came with my AFE Drop-In filter. Anyone else used any of the products that came with the AFE group buy. My thoughts on the protectant was it was kinda watery. It had a funky but not unpleasant aroma. Not near as slick as AA and it was clear in color. Does not shine much, which is a good thing, as I drive into the rising and setting sun a lot. Hate the reflections some protectants produce.

Didn't wash it cuz it is supposed to rain later today.

I lowered my rear bumper ~3/8", so that it doesn't touch on the plastic bumper covering when lowering tailgate. I noticed that when I lower the tailgate, the lower lip was scraping against the black palstic bumber cover/step. This eventually wore the paint of the tailgate, and in my case lead to rust. Reparied the tailgate while painting my fender flares, lowered the bumper so it doesn't happen again.
