@Casper66 I'm definitely down for meets, mod days, etc. Trail runs will depend on if the trail is prerunner friendly.

@DirtyGoGetIt I'd be interested in hunting meets. I'm new to VA and haven't figured out where to go yet. It doesn't help that everyone I talk to just hunts on private land.

 

You need to check out some of the lumber company land at least they useed to sell permits to hunt pretty cheap and it's not crazy assed public land.. There is some public land available also

I see what you have listed in your performance section. I have done all of that except the cat back exhaust. I would be interested to know if you have seen any benefit from that and just what it sounds like. Hopefully you'll have your truck back by the time we have a meet.

 

Hopefully, I'll have my truck back this week or next. I need to call them sometime this week to see how it's going. It's been under the knife for 2 weeks now.

I did the header and cat back at the same time, so I can't say if one did more than the other. I can tell that there's an increase in performance though. Where you at the flag pole knob meet a few months ago? It was installed then.

Just been busy as can be, work is starting to pick up, nephew's birthday was over the weekend, and there may kind of be a girl of the friend variety in the picture here soon (which is a long story in itself). Been trying to stop in when I can.

Only thing I have going right this moment is my dad's birthday (the 21st), so we could be doing something for him the week before or the week after. Also, there's a Flagpole run the 24th - 26th. I'm planning on so far (barring any dad's b-day plans), going up the 25th just to wheel, and coming back that evening. So if anyone wants to roll for that, the invite is out there.

 

I'm cool with any Saturday in march except the 18th, thats when we have my son's birthday.

 

Greets everyone, just sitting in the airport in Texas waiting on my connecting flight and catching up on this page.
I'm in for a hunting trip as well as a meet up. I may not be able to make the March one because it seems my Saturdays are getting filled up with Boy Scout stuff or other kid things.
My speaker adapters are being delivered this week so next weekend, Sunday or Monday (since it's a holiday) I will be installing front and rear door speakers, sans tweeters. If anyone gets bored and wants to come hang out off Rt 17, let me know. Doesn't look hard to do so not really 'wrenching' except for the occasional vulgarity when I break more of those stupid plastic retaining clips, which I also had to order.

well tenative dates are the 18th and the 1st of April so will have to reconsider this understandng there's almost no way I'll be able to accomodate everyone

 

Absolutely Marie we appreciate the customer service we're given by you. Where as I myself haven't ordered anything from you yet the discussions we have had have been helpful. The help you've afforded fellow members has been appreciated and I will continue to point people in your direction. Hopefully I will be ordering something sometime as I've been screwed by a different vendor here so far you will be my next try at this.

 

Thanks for the update I completely understand dealing with the scouts having been a gs leader for 15 years or so. I hope you can make it as it will be in F'burg rt now the dates are up in the air but painfully apparent there's no way to get it rt for evryone.

Yeah, I know you want to make it so everyone can come, but unfortunately it's going to be impossible. I used to plan meets back in the day for another truck forum I was on, and I quickly learned that you just had to set a date, stick to it, and if people could come and wanted to, they would.

I'm going to try and make it to whatever I can, like I said, the only day I know for sure is out for me is the 25th.
