Curious how often others are changing. The dealer said that these trucks are good for 30k

Yeah manual says every 30k. It was simple, I didn't run into any snags. Taped the plug socket to the extension so I didn't lose it down the hole. Spun em in by hand with the extension to ensure no cross thread. Done in 1.5 hours taking my time.

Ok, I hadn't changed them since I got the truck . I trusted the maintenance log which was checked at the 30k service where plugs are due. I'm at 75k now, so I put off an extra 15k (or so I thought). They were denso passenger side ngk driver. So they were prob never changed. And they're down to a nub.

Moral of the story - change plugs every 30k and don't trust previous owners record
