I didn't use a torque wrench or look up any specs, I tightened it till it wouldn't budge and gave it one last good pull. The bolts look like they are pre-dipped or sprayed with a red film which I assume is a form of thread locker.

Yeah I went to go pay when I picked them up Friday and they said that we'll figure it out later. They are so new that they aren't even in the system yet. We had a big meet that they were sponsoring today, so we wanted to get them on the truck I time for that. They came in from powder coat, one set went on their new shop pro and the other went right out the door for my truck. They have my cc on file and I have several more items to get there so we'll get it all sorted out

 

Should try Zaino. I tried it in 2003 for my black 4Runner. Haven't used anything else since. Only thing I've used on black that came off easy regardless of temperature, with a 100% cotton towel. Stuff is amazing, and super easy to use.

 

What kind of product are you using for polish, glaze, sealant, and wax?

All meguires "ultimate" products except glaze, number 7 glaze, Mothers wax. Just don't get the mothers wax on black trim she is a bitch to get off. But it smells so good

I get nostalgic looking at your truck. It has that classic 4x4 look (IMO at least) I grew up drooling over in the 80s-90s. Damn fine job!

Got my Taco as an early high school graduation present back in August thanks to my wonderful parents, barely became part of the TW Clan today!
Parents and I didn't like the SR5 wheel package, decided to go with the TRD Sport wheel package.

I spent a lot of time surfing out in Cali.
Had a friend who lived in Manhattan Beach but summer surf sucked there. We pent most of our time at Hunnigton Cliffs, Pier, Seal Beach and Santa Anna river jettys.
Plus brothers in San Diego, surfed all around there and another friend who lived up in Pacifica....Santa Cruz was fun.....water freezing!
I have not been to Hunigton in about 20 years since all my surfing has been in warm water since the 80's....Mex west coast and Central America....mostly El Salvador. We were in Hunnigton this past summer for a volleyball tournament she had....man what change....Santa Ana river jetties gone??
New Huntington Pier?? Fancy high rise condos on beach near pier? Amazing!
