who's up for a citrus meet?

It is looking like besides Harry and me, we might have 4-5 other trucks coming up also from TTORA. We will probably go hit croom also. Have any of you guys ever been there before? We went last weekend and found some stuff to play in.

 

Have you set it up yet? How does it fit?

 

Never been heard it was good though, I've always wanted to but got rid of my Jeep before I could.

sadly, that just a little too far away for me to do in one day, and work is hella crazy now, so I can't take a two-day overnight kinda trip till mid-late summer I'm up for an east coast run if someone want to do one down here though! (west palm/fort lauderdale area)

you need to be real careful at croom.
johnny law dog is out there quite often looking for guys on the closed areas and such.
ive been stopped up there almost every time ive gone.(i hunt there alot).

 

Yea, but citrus is pretty much the same way though, just stay out of the closed areas. And stay out of the mudholes at citrus because they will give you a ticket for driving through them.

 

Tent fits pretty well, I am happy with that.

Hell yeah, I'm trying to get a little blow up mattress to throw in there too. It's just a pain to take my tool box off and then put it back on. I think I might sell it soon.

 

yeah i have a queen blow up mattress so i need to try and throw that in and than if it doesnt fit i will go buy a twin or something.

Take SR50 straight over to Brooksville and it is about 15-20 minutes north of there.

 

What is on everybodys "List" of stuff to bring?

 

well i have a pretty good stock of camping supplies almost everything you could possibly need. for the campers i would just bring whatever you want to eat. dinner will be burgers and dogs sat night(but you can bring whatever you want) we usually do a nice breakfast (eggs,bacon, sausage) so if yall just bring what you will eat we'll throw it in the mix.I have all the staples(coffee, creamer, sugar) as for lunch on sunday i'm doing sandwiches.as i said before i have all the cooking gear covered.

 

cool yeah i will bring some stuff to eat and of course beer!! Do they allow camp fires and if so what about fire wood. I will have a axe and shovel and stuff like that.

 

yeah fires are cool, i'll have plenty of firewood but bring your ax anyway.so what time you comin in
