Brings back awful memories, we had a terrible ice storm about 10 years ago and it brought down all the power lines and my truck was encased in about an inch of ice. Took me 3 days to chop enough ice away to get in the passenger door and I let it run for about an hour before I was able to get it to where I could drive, took like 8 days till the power was restored and I spent a few days in a hotel. I bought a Generator after that experience and it has come in handy plenty of times during outages including a nasty wind storm took out the power for 7 or 8 days.

That is good news, it has been pretty mild so far here too and fingers crossed that we make it through the rest of Winter that way!

No Joke, that was about the amount of ice that was on my truck after that awful ice storm but I forgot to leave my wipers up, lol.
