Susan, How far are you from a small town/area called Bluffton? I think it is near the Hilton Head area. We have our oldest grandson living there. He is sort of taking a hiatus from college while he decides a direction he wants to take. Not a totally bad thing, as he is making it on his own, and seems to be happy for now. He has worked his way to a manager spot at a Chipotle (sp?). Let me know if you are near there -please.

    Hey @Marty65 , it's been a while!

How's the wife liking those wheels? Those LEDs are pretty bright. Ask your brother-in-law where his company orders them from.

I've played around with them a bit but haven't put them to good use yet.

I thought about using them to back light the "TRD" on my center caps. They are about the right size but I would have to Dremel the letters out, then put some frosted Plexiglas inside the cap and fill in the letters with translucent red epoxy to start. Seems like a whole lot of work. I'm still looking for alternatives though.

Using red LEDs is a good idea if you don't want to blind everyone with bright lights in the dark.

I have all of my interior lighting, map lights, dome light, even the cup holders and foot wells in red so I don't lose my night vision.

 for those evacuating that they all are spared and stay safe. No way to fight the forces of water; eventually it will go were it wants...only needs enough volume to do so. :(
