    Well, not really, its actually helping your truck out a bit. Your engine probably takes the better part of 4 hours to cool off anyways, and that just runs the coolant a bit to accelerate the cooling. If youve ever popped the hood after driving around in boost, especially on hot days, that SC is steaming hot, so I don't mind moving the coolant around a bit more when its off.

    I'm familiar, since we have multiple forced induction vehicles, but I don't think this is necessary. My GT500 gives off MASSIVE amounts of heat and my wife's BMW 335ix isn't far behind when we park them, but neither of them do this. Even if it was necessary when the truck is hot, it's certainly not when it's just sitting there at ambient temp. For that, I'll stick with my original "stupid" assessment.

    The place where Magnuson says to tap it is a bad location IMO. There's not a good reason for the coolant pump for the LTR to be running each time the LDP comes on. I've been meaning to change mine but haven't gotten around to it.

    I went on vacation for a week back in early December and my truck wouldn't start when I got back. It sat for 3x that long pre-supercharger and fired right up. It's the LTR pump that killed it.

    Water pump turning? :confused: Intercooler water pump? No, it's will not turn. What you hear is the evaporative canister pump. And it's active only few hours after shutting the engine down.

    False. The Supercharger coolant pump gets tied in to that system check so it kicks on for a few seconds every couple of hours.

    I haven´t connected my IC water pump below that ECM fuse, it´s connected from a different source and switch, so I have not this problem.

    Move the tap to another circuit that comes on with ignition. That is what I plan to do if I ever remember to do it when I have free time. The tap is only powering the relay itself, not the actual pump. So whichever circuit you chose to use shouldn't really be affected much. Relays generally draw 250mA or less.

    Or leave it alone and just disconnect the negative cable if you're going to let the truck sit for a lengthy period of time.

    Mine was listed as what the most current that toyota had in their system. Thats why they said they couldnt flash anything. Cause the bd/magnuson tune snuck in like "oh hey, Im an official trd tune, dont mind me" and tech stream bought the bull.

    Or how about Toyota for making it so difficult to recode anything electronic? Look i get it some are unhappy with the tune and method. But what did you honestly expect? With as locked down as Toyota electronics are, my money is on there's no way to actually flash it without fooling it into thinking it's a Toyota flash. I appreciate the insight and experiences shared in this thread, but the non stop bitching about BD is lame. Magnuson provoded the the tune and BD flashes the only way Toyota allows.
