I think the worst thing I did with my 12V was pop a fuse.

But it's great, because now I know what is wired to where and how to fix it.

He just needs to make sure his + and - cables going to the battery are a big enough gauge and you'll be good.

 

I'm just trying to push you do some of your own work. Have some real Chad's Pride in your truck knowing you did that shit your own damn self!

I would think 8awg would suffice for the extension fuse panel. He'll probably need a secondary battery now, though.
