Congrats brother! Welcome to the club! I have 19 month old lil princess myself and a lil boy on the way, due in July. I'm so happy I got a girl. She was planned but the second was a surprise lol. It's going to be cool having one of each but having a girl is soooo awsome! I totally understand about dudes when they get older, like you said just have to raise them proper and pray for the best! She's my shadow and I am hers lol. Cherish every moment brother because the first two years fly by! Also make sure you nap when they nap because you are going to need it! Just a piece of advice that was given to me and works great! Oh and on the tacoma front, if you have the double cab you will be fine. I have a huge Graco seat in there, I forget the name of it but it's one of the seats that grow with you until you no longer need a car seat. If you would like I can take a picture of mine later to show you how much room you have, just let me know.

IMG_0177.jpg IMG_0167.jpg IMG_0173.jpg Good morning all.............just picked up my new double cab off road Tacoma on Friday. I debadged it, got the windows tinted, dipped my grill and removed the vinyl between the windows. I still have to decide on how to get rid of the chrome rear bumper ends. I'm debating on wrapping it or dipping it. Really do not want to see texture on my bumper so I'm leaning towards wrap. Now some pics.

ok, the curiosity is killing me - what is it about the vinyl between the windows that you didn't like? The truck has blacked out stuff all over the place.....
    Just curious is all.....

I don't like how it will scratch and fade over time.................very easy to remove took 5 minutes with a heat gun. You don't like the look without it? Now the curiosity is killing me lol.

I think it looks good both ways. I personally prefer the vinyl between the windows because it kind of gives you that "one big window look", especially if you have darker tint on the windows.

I am ok with it either way....seriously I am. I didn't know it would fad though, guess getting it off new makes it easier. My truck is magnetic grey also but the more that is blacked out the better I like it.
About to get the badges swapped out to matte black.

I agree, I had a 2016 TRD Sport - Inferno and decided after 7 payments that I needed a 4 door so I decided that this color looked better on this truck. IMO :)
Quick question - did you dip your grill yourself with a spray can?

All this rain on the central coast cleaned up the truck a bit. Thought I'd take a quick snapshot and share. Putting on my new basket today!:yay:

It's a very common mod. No you don't have to remove the bumper just the grill which is easy to remove. There is an entire thread in this forum as well as YouTube videos on how to do it. Caliraised makes brackets. Just put in "stealth mount" in the search.

Agreed. I like it stock. I just wish they would have made it part of the door with a heavy duty plastic like on other vehicles.

DJ Tony yes I did, but I did not use plastidip I used Krylon trim and bumper paint. I will not be removing the black that is why I did not use plastidip..........there is no texture it looks great. In the pic it looks like there is texture but that is raindrops.

Thinking of doing rough country leveling kit of 2" only in front. Wat the biggest tire I can go without rubbing with 17s?
