no, I went for the urd intake instead. And it is great! I thought URD was sold out though. While you're waiting for it to arrive, go pick up the air body saw from harbor freight. It will probably be on sale for around 20.

they r sold out---i'll gladly wait for it though.i'll bend some sheetmetal and make a rain deflector so water won't be a worry like people have been saying.

Ive had mine in pouring rain, a car wash, and have directly sprayed the grill with a hose when I washed the truck myself. No problems.

That's the one. I ordered that today along with the "plug n play" MAF sensor. I'm pretty stoked. should have it in a few days. If anyone has a link to an installation video i'd appreciate it. I don't know...the guy at URD said it's pretty easy but still.

Just watched a video on throttle body spacers. I hear they work the best with CAI's and after market exhaust systems. I have both. Any opinions on these? I see URD has one.

    The intake?

Odds are u spoke to Gadget or Sam?

Comes with step by step picture loaded instructions.

The 1 thing ill say is, when tightening the bolts and i think 1 nut inside the intake box that secures it to the engine bay, make sure they pop thru the undercoating of the fender well.... look up from the well andnthey should pop thru some. Unless the bolt length was shortend.

To assure this, push down on the installed intake box from the inside, dont have the lid on yet, dont have the filter in yet... press ur hand onto the inside of the intake box in a downward motion. Theres a rubber bumper that is under the box and will compress. If it compresses enough that the washers on the bolts move from the gap you just created, tighten them more.

If you dont, the washers will float at high rpm and it will create an audible high pitch rattle.
The intake will be loud above 2k rpm roughly either way unless you have a supercharger.

getting on the freeway, or passing, created a racket so loud inside the cabin, it made listening to passengers, the radio, or talking in a normal volume pointless. It was louder than a flowmaster 40.

If your supercharged tho, the intake will not be NEARLY as loud... like damn near quiet even except the whine of the blower.

Its a great intake, just be ready for these pointers.

Wont do a thing for these engines.

I was not aware urd sold any throttle body spacers, id like a link, as Gadget never sold this crap before to my knowledge. Are you confusing it with a larger tb adapter? Thats a different story and i cant knock that.

Or is it a spacer thats predrilled for a 7th injector maybe?
